if statement

can anyone help me with this if statement, trying to call an include.

<?php
if ($language =="pt") { required (DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'headerpt.php'); }?>
else
<?{ php required (DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'header.php'); }?>

try this

<?php 
if ($language =="pt") { required (DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'headerpt.php'); }?> 

<?else{ php required (DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'header.php'); }?>

You had the else not in php tags. Meaning it would be parsed as most likely html. Anf outputting an error for php.

I have tried the code and I get a Parse error on the last line of code

<?else{ php required (DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'header.php'); }?>

I still get a Parse error in that last line here's what I have.

Well not to sound rude or anything but just looking through code like that aint gonna help anybody

What exactly was the error and please use [php ][/php ] without the spaces. Makes it easier to read

This is the error that I get.
Parse error: parse error in /home/sites/site60/web/snapcart/catalog/login.php

require(DIR_WS_LANGUAGES . $language . '/' . FILENAME_LOGIN);

hmm that parse error doesnt actually help at all.

<?php echo TITLE; ?>Now i havent searched fully but if you have it like that its suppose to be a var.

I dont think thats you error though.

yes this is a var, but only used for the title of the page, and nothing more.

If I put in a single statement it works fine. like this
