How was this done?

Hello I could sure use some help on how to add this feature to my site. If you go to this page: newtechnix.com .This page has a box at the very top-right of the page. It shows this information:

Nom: ???
Niv: ??? Exp: ???
Evo: ??? Arg: ???

and if you click on the blue box next to it, it takes you to a page that allows you(the visitor) to choose an avatar(picture). I just started working with PHP and Mysql and I would sure appreciate any help.

Set a cookie, store the information for the image and the person's name in it. You could have a cokie then called "site_visitor" and its value would be "Name","image" and you could then explode() it and voila ...
