My env is Apache 1.3.23 w/ PHP 4.3.0RC2 (previous versions were having same problem) & W2K 5.00.2195 SP3... I tried several tutorials on PHP & MySQL & never got the ones using forms to work - it's as if the input to the forms never goes into the variables. My latest adventure this morning is to use the sample at http://www.wightindex.com/forms.shtml . PHP works fine on non forms & will read info from a MySQL file. I'm out of clues . MR(;-)))
You most likely don't have register_globals on in your php.ini. Which I would suggest leaving off and use the $GET and $POST arrays to retrieve form data.
