synchronize Outlook Calendar with MySQL using PHP

Hi guys,

This company where I work is thinking about using ASP.NET instead of PHP, because the client wants to synchronize the database with the MS-Outllook calendar...
But I DONT WANT IT, I WANT PHP,.. but they have the way to do it with ASP.NEt, and I can't argue for PHP cause I have no idea if there's a way to do this... Like XML/CSV files?
The idea is for the clients to have a "special" calendar on a portal where they can synchronize with their own at home offline, and vice versa.

I dont think it can be intergrated with Outlook. But however there are Calender Functions for PHP
