Embedding in HTML

Hi,

I've just installed php pn Apache and can't remember where to add .html to the parse list. If I set up an HTML page with PHP embedded and use the .html ending the browser will run the HTML but ignore the PHP.

If I change the file ending to .php, the browser will display both.

I remember that .html must be added to the .php, .php3, .php4 etc, but can't find where to do it.

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html in httpd.conf

But this will cause apache to parse anything with the .html extension with php. There's some overhead to doing this, I believe.
