about mysql, i forgoted to restart server, oh this was a really stupid mistake, after server restarting all is ok

first problem is:::::::

all mysql data i have stored in mysql.3.23.37
but now i am working on mysql 3.23.51 how to copy data from old mysql to new

i trying next,

i makeing on mysql3.23.51 tables, all tables are emty,
now i copied table_name.MYD, and MYI

i just overrited old MYD,MYI(mysql.3.23.37) to MYD, MYI(mysql.3.23.51), adn also i get the error, how to copy data from old mysql to new ??????
