Copy remote file not using copy();

First of all I would like to say 'hello to the board'. May I proceed with a question? 😃

How to copy a remote jpeg image to local drive not using copy();?

I need to copy it using fgets and fputs.. But somehow I don't know how much to read, what, how to write, so the file was the exact binary copy.. Can you please help me or at least point me in some direction? 🙂

Heh guys - an update 😉

since I'm so impatient I solved this myself 🙂

use

while (!feof($pointer)) {
$t .= fread($fp, 4096);
}

and just

fputs($pointer2,$t);

So, I can fetch at least my jpeg images correctly 😃
