New to PHP and MySQL (Licence information)

hi to all

I am planning to design a site(for a customer) on PHP and MySQL but I don't know whether I have to pay the licence fees for the both or not. And one more thing: Do I need any other software to develop this?

Can u help me in this scenario?

It seems you have been misled
Unlike ASP. PHP and Mysql is free. Meaning you can download the software and not need to pay.

I suggest using Robouk's tutorial on Installing it all if your not sure.
