Hi there,
I have 2 databases... one thats on a client's computer (Foxpro) and one that is on a server (Mysql).
Everytime that either of the databases is updated, the other has to be synced. ie: someone online adds an entry to the mysql db, it would automatically update the foxpro db on the client's machine -- and vice versa.
I'm thinking that if I have a small PHP script running on the client's machine (that has a dedicated connection to the internet) that checks to see if either DB has been updated every X minutes. This doesn't have to be synced to the exact second like a bank or anything... if it checks every 2 or 3 minutes, that would be fine.
Anyone with any experience in this or advice, i would love to hear it.
Thanks,
-dr
