Server Package

I just installed OS X Jaguar, and i was wondering if there is a server package that includes mysql,php,apache,phpmyadmin all in one type of thing. I know something like that exists for PC but is one available for MAC OS X?

Well apache comes pre-installed (it's used for the web sharing stuff i believe). I read somewhere that PHP and MySQL also come with Jaguar, but you have to install them seperately.

However, here is a nice page with all of them in PKG format, ready to install.

I just got my first mac in 3 years, an iBook 800mhz that I intend to do some development on, so let me know how you make out with the installations :-)

hey congrats on ur first MAc...im sure u'll be happy with it!

ok that downloads page is amazing...everything I need. I already got PHP, MySQL, Apache. Gonna get phpMyAdmin now and install it all. Actually im gonna running a mirror of one of my sites and use my MAC as a test server. I can't possibly be uploading files and mysql data to the remote server every other second. It would be a very tedious process, so i thought i'd rather create my on remote server on my MAC 🙂
