Storing data as XML...

Hi all,

Sory if this is in the wrong forum, but I think this would be appropriate.

I'm interested in learning how to convert user input into XML type data, and also the proper way to format and store that data in a MySQL DB.

Part of my goal is to be able to export RSS type data from my database for easy syndication of my content; but I think I should probably learn how to properly construct and store my content as XML first.

Can someone point me to a resource(s) to get a handle on, um.. handling my content as XML (no pun intended...I swear).

Hiya, sorry it took me so long to reply, I was pretty busy with the holidays..

Anyway, thanks for the link; I've been looking around some more and it seems like there are a lot of various ways to get the job done. I picked up an XML book finally to get the core concepts down; again thanks for the pointer!
