how to make limits !!! on directories

i have mandrake8.2,

pure-ftp -

and how to make limits on selected directories, i only want that users cannot upload more than limit, which is setted by me !!

pure-ftp can this make ! , i am trying in pure-ftp set some limits, but nothing helps.

Assuming you have root access, etc. then you could setup quotas, which will give a soft limit and an absolute limit.

where can i get manuals about qutas, i doesnt now anything about it !!!!
