Hello: I´ve created a database regarding many products, the way they appear is ver simple. The user enters his preference and the results appear. But when I enter them in Mysql and call them I don´t understand why they appear in different order. I mean I would like them ordered in a specific way, for example alphabetical or numerical. Hoy can I choose the way they appear on the web. Thanks in advance for anyone who helps.
consider using "ORDER BY" in your query
SELECT * FROM product WHERE somecol=1 ORDER BY somecol
Default is ASC (ascending -- A-Z, 1-9)
you can also say ORDER BY DESC (9-1, Z-A)
