You need the IP of your computer - if you are using a router of some sort, you may need its ip and to setup a port forward to your computer for the port you are running foosql off of.
Using the IP they can connect, but I'd get a dns entry from dyndns.org or someplace similar - free, easy to update, and a lot easier to remember than a ip.
