interbase export to Access or Excel

I am running php/interbase.

Are there any php runnig component that let me call this php running script/component and export data from interbase to access or export.

Many dba tools there to do this work. My question is if the client can get web access to security area and click the php programed button, and export data to access or excel to his local machine?

By the way, if there is a way like that, what is the safety concern?

don't know how you can export directly to excel or access...
however you could easily export to an MS office friendly format like a .csv file (a comma delimited file)
and then import this file from access or excel

Since you are using Interbase I suppose you make software using C++ Builder or Delphi? If that is so I have your complete answer. Just let me know if that is the case
