A template question

Hey guys,

I just have a little question??

I am familliar with the most php funtions now, and now i want to use those templates withous the use of any new class of anything like phplib.

I have seen in many templates something like this { var }
That { var } is then filled with data.

My question now is how do u fill that thing up with the data.
Do u have to use include ''; ?
And u have to use something like str_replace(); ?

You'd use str_replace() (or preg_replace() for more sophisticated insertions, or user-defined functions for arbitrarily sophisticated stuff).

Where you get the data that goes in the template slot is really your own affair and depends entirely on the design and architecture of your template system. The bits could come from a database, or files, or be generated on demand by the script. Wherever they come from, you'd put the content into a variable and then use one of those replacement functions to replace the template slot with that content.
