Changing order of items

Merry Xmas guys

I have 1 php xmas question thought

I have a table like this:

1 | Item 1 | Move Up / Move Down
2 | Item 2 | Move Up / Move Down
3 | Item 3 | Move Up / Move Down
4 | Item 4 | Move Up / Move Down

In db i store item's position and id, they are separte values,
but how can i make so if i click Down or Up for any items it apears
one position higer or lower.

Yes it works fine, but i need to make so that user clicks and it moves

I see...
In that case put all your code into a form and make the "move up"-"move down" links as -submit- buttons
so every time the user click on the buttons your form will first do the re-distribution of positions and then show the data repositioned
