Replacing words

Hi,

Does anyone know how to replace equal words within a string?
For example. someone enters "mp3 music mp3" I want the last
mp3 to be filtered out. I think the solution is to split the string
into an array and then compare? Does anyone have a simple
and yet effective solution?

look at preg_replace, ereg_replace, eregi_replace and str_replace.

str_replace will probably be what your after though
