service httpd start---Failed

i tried to start my apache server by doing this

service httpd start:

this error came out:

Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so:undefined symbol:gdImageStringFT----FAILED

i cant solve this problem.please do help me.
