Today I installed PHPtriad on my WinXP system. It seems to be working. I can type in http://127.0.0.1/filename.php and see that it is working.
But I'm having a small problem with the MySQL setup (I think). When I start it up through the entry in the Start Menu (PHPtriad->MySQL->MySQL-D-NT) I see the DOS window open up for a brief second, then disappear.
I can't seem to figure out how to keep that window open so I can type commands in it. The apache window stays open just fine but not the MySQL window.
Did I do something wrong or have I overlooked something editing? I'd really like to play around with databases but I can't seem to figure out how to get it started.
