I am looking for a few buddies to help complete a project:

I was looking for a PHP/Mysql program that manage seminars and events.

To date this is not available and I thought it might be a good project.

Please let me know If you are interested.

Once complete it could be available to the members.

Well im not gonna help. But i really think this could be done by one person. But then again. It depends on two things. Your knowledge in PHP and how much will be needed for the seminars. What it will deal with. I think before people volunteer they should know exactly what they can expect. Who are you looking for. What level are they suppose to be at. What level are you at. I think people should know more information before i suggest any person help out.

I have some code that generate a calendar and allow visitors to book: ( Similar to guest house bookings)

Problem one is only one visitor can book and I would need to set the number of attendees per seminar or workshop.

I would also like to keep record of who has booked plus create a payment online link.

Once all seats are taken it should reflect seminar as full.

I agree that one person could do it. What I also know from my Programing days is that more input give wider outlook.

Go to http://www.sourceforge.net and create a new project. Then create jobs for your projects. Viola, your prayers have been answered.

If I can't help with coding I would be more than happy to write documentation for the project, this would be important if it was being released into the public domain with varying levels of users. Are classes going to be used? I think they would be great to keep the system manageable and easier to expand. This could also allow other users to add facillities much easier.
