I am using fopen to pull xml files...
then i parse those files and put them into a database..
everything works ok...
but when i try to get a file and it returns 404 file not found...
the script crashes with non-stop not a valid file handle resource...
how can I get the script to skip over 404 files....?
so that the script goes onto the next url and pull the next xml file...
?
another strange thing is that..
if u pass a non xml file url.. the script is designed to keep going on.. but if the url has chinese characters in it.. it stops running but it doesn't give any errors..
www.cnn.com would be skipped over.. but http://www.chinesesite.com causes the script to halt..
