I am truly warmed by your words of thanks. Believe me when I say that I also benefited in more ways than one from our dialogue, and appreciate the experience.

My own first PHP script was just "list the contents of a database table" - no formatting or anything, and I didn't even design the database or page layout. So to learn that I have helped someone outdo me is alone sufficient to make my being on this forum in the first place worthwhile.

Its good to know that some people are greatful of peoples efforts to help them learn PHP.

Why the hell would somebody NOT be greatful, I am super greatful, the guy was there for me all the way from my first problem to the completion of my first script. He was great, amazing! I have learned a lot from him... I must admit there are still parts of the code that he suggested and that I still don't understand but at least I learned other things and my script works pretty well... I am happy and if he, who lost so much time helping me, is happy as well then I am even happier and reliefed (I kinda felt guilty for all his efforts and the time he spent)...
