Help with this ereg replace ..

Hello ppl,
I have this question, how can I replace, using the code bellow, the backspace caracter " \ " ?

$msg= ereg_replace( "\", "", $msg );

Can somebody help me?

Try

$msg= ereg_replace( "\\\", "", $msg );

I tried and I recive this error :

Warning: REG_EESCAPE in /home/nokitel/public_html/sendmail.php on line 16

The line 16 is this line :

$msg= ereg_replace( "\\", "", $msg );

Maibe you have another idea about how can I replace the backslash carcater from a string.

I can't know what exactly you need it for, but stripslashes() might be useful?

Description

string stripslashes ( string str)

Returns a string with backslashes stripped off. (\' becomes ' and so on.) Double backslashes are made into a single backslash.

why not try:

$msg = str_replace("\","",$msg);
