i have dowloaded php on my machine windows xp.but i cant get it to work. can you show me how to do so?😕

Search Google for phpdev. Very good. Get version 423. Apache 1.3.27 PHP 4.2.3 MySQL 4.0.0 then download MySQL 3.23.54 from mysql.com because the MySQL 4.0.0 is crap

I have successfully installed PHP4.3.1 on WinXP pro and served it with Apache2. If you send me a personal message I can mail you detailed instructions on how I did it.

winxp pro has iis, why not install it on iis?

I did. I wanted to compare the two platforms. My conclusion is that PHP tends to run faster in Apache.
