Entering text as submitted

i am trying to figure out how to enter text in to my MySQL db.

Example:

I am trying to

but.....its goes in to the database like this

Maybe in the beginning of your code you said

fopen($blackhole,"w");

or maybe you are just missing some text in your post?

If so, nl2br() converts linebreaks to <br> tags.

If your text is consistent, you could enter then into seperate columnns in that table for MySQL, then when you call it, separate it. You could also put in a comma or something like that in the text, then dellimet (spelling?) it when you pull it from MySQL

i think that is right? where do i put the nl2br() tho?

Use nl2br either on insert or select. Which one you do it to depends on your application.
