Help with mysql upload

hey everyone, i was trying to figure out how to upload a jpeg image into a specific directory and have it logged into a mysql DB.

i can upload the image into the directory with a regular form, but i just dont know how to do the same with mysql.

i was trying to find a tutorial that would show me how to do it, but i havent had much luck.

if anyone happens to know of a good tutorial or know themselves, i would greatly appreciate if you could help a mate out.
