need help

hi there, i have a search page in a website i'm making and it works just fine but it's not perfect.

the problem is that i want the search results that appear to be clickable linking to the corresponding page.

i've managed to do this by creating a column in my database called page and that has the correspondent page link like page_name.php and you can click on it to go to this page but i don't really like it this way.

it would look better if the link was in the name and not in the page, how do i make for example a regist called PAGE 1 be linked to a page called PAGE_NAME.PHP. how do i make the name field have a link provided by the page field.

here's the piece of code i have for the output.

print ("<tr><td><font face=\"Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">$tit</font></td><td><font face=\"Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">$yea</font></td><td><a href=\"$pag\"><font face=\"Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">$pag</font></td></tr>");

i've tried some ways but all i did was make the script no work so i gave up, now all i had to do was that?!?!
