Pattern tutorial

Hey guys,

does anyone know a good site with tutorials for the preg, ereg, and others simular functions?

I mean tutorial which really start from the beginning, explaining all parameters and expressions, if possible with examples...

And please dont link me the php.net tutorial 😉

there's one around here (see article section), I think it's dealing with ereg-functions, but most of the elements a regex pattern may have should be similar.

For an explanation what preg modifier are, php.net indeed may a good source.

And concerning special features of the preg-function such as lookahead, well I suggested an article dedicated to PCRE, let's see...
