I am trying to configure 2 linux servers to connect. The first server has informix loaded. The second is a intranet server with PHP loaded. I have found the documentation for configuring PHP to talk to informix and it seems self obvious. The informix client sdk is installed and functioning on the informix server. The install instructions for the client SDK seem to assume that the database is resident on the server and I cannot seem to fathom how to install the product as a client only for linux.
Am I missing something
