clear all font tags

Hi!

I am working with wysíwyg editor and now I have a problem. How can I clear all font tags away from my text?? I know in the manual is strip_tags, but I have no talent to use it.. =(

So I have $text which would look like this

Blaa <font face=verdana size=2>blaa</font>
<br>
<br>
 Blaa blaa <font face=times new roman size=1>blaa</font>

Problem is that how can I get just font tags away??

Dreamweaver has a find and replace for tags. If not, do a search for <font on your page, then just manually delete the tags. If all the font tags are identical, then use notepads find and replace all feature (if you're on windows).

There is a little mistake. I mean that I have made a wysiwyg editor with PHP,javascript and MySQL. Now my problem is how can I clear font tags from text using PHP. Sorry!

There is more information about my system. My wysiwyg editor use Iframe and when paste text from MS Word it tooks all tags with. So I don't know how I can clear my text??
