premission problem

Hi,

I try to open a file using :
fopen("xxx","w")

I get this error:
Warning: fopen("xxx","w") - Permission denied in /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/xxx/htdocs/test.php on line 20

is it a php problem (php.ini?)
or apache problem? what should I do?

you have to change the file permission so that it can be modified by guest accounts... or basically anyone... of each file you want users to modify.
