Does anyone know any reasons why your browser won't locate http://localhost/ ???

And, is there any site that would allow me to test my PHP basic scripts?

If you don't have a webserver running on your computer, your browser won't be able to find localhost. To test your scripts try getting a webserver http://www.apache.org, and php http://www.php.net

I don't know if you ever heard of PHPTriad, but it offers Apache, MySQL, PHPMyAdmin, etc. etc. But my comp won't find the localhost. 🙁
