    Im surpised so many people on these boards are mainly from the US, UK or some country that is in the Northern Hemisphere. Ive seen/heard of very few from Australia or from any Southern Hemispheric country

                              Salary: I started a company a coupla years ago, small time for sure. I charge 20$/hour for coding HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript, or whatever, any type of remote work, including server administration. I fix stuff (hardware, software (Maybe)) on site for 28-32 $ US/hour, depending on distance from here. Of that amount, I give myself $10/hour worked plus an allowance for fuel, Burger King, and the company pays the phone bill and 1/2 my internet costs. I currently have clients in 4 counties...I started with one client in Carthage in 2001. I have another PT job, and my wife works, so we manage. Plus I gig occasionally as a musician, generally non-union stuff, though. My office is at home, so I can relate to Elizabeth's feelings on the subject. I give a substantial discount to non-profits, (churches and the like) and old folks, so these currently make up a substantial portion of my clientele.
