Retrieving typed in URL in address bar...

Hi!

Is there a way in PHP to detect the typed in URL in the address bar of the browser?

I am writing a PHP program to create some sort of a dynamic index.html, but therefor I need to have the address typed in by the surfer.

Do you want to send varibles over thru the URL string?

Nope! I just want to read the URL that's in the address bar of the browser. That's it!

try $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']...

If you go to http://yourdomain.com/page.html?var=asdf
it will return /page.html?var=asdf
