Removing a word from a TEXTAREA?

Hi all,

I have a form with a <textarea> on it. I don't want to allow things such as email addresses or website url's.
After the form is submitted, how can I use PHP to remove those items? In other words, can I delete a single word in a textarea?

Well if people are gonna add them like this.. [e-mail] use regex. Theres a tutorial on the site. An do a search on email validate in the forums.

Ok now you should also strip_tags()

Like so

$message = strip_tags($message,'');

if you want <b><i><u> and <br> allowed try this

$message = strip_tags($message,'<b> <i> <u> <br>');
