Anyone know any info on creating effects on images with gd?
For example, the images on webmonkey: http://a1112.g.akamai.net/7/1112/492/02012000/static.wired.com/webmonkey/authors/images/author_white/smudge_w.gif
The resize works great, perfect. Now I would like to know what effects if any are possible , example code or images anyone?

Well you can get those lines by drawing a line every 5 px in the color you want.
GD aint much powerful as ImageMagick and NetPBM
I know, I was just hoping someone was using some code that has effects pre built and would be willing to share.
Its rather time consuming drawing each line and coming up with designs that look good.
