Hey all - new member here, came recommended from web developer forum, so I'm hoping you guys can help me and then one day, when i've learnt some stuff, maybe I can help someone else!
I'm not even sure if my problem belongs here, but here we go anyway: i've got php set up in my IIS 5.1 (win XP pro) and mysql seems to be okay too. only problem is, i can only run my sql from the Mysql\bin directory, which is a bit of a bugger cos I have sample SQL scripts in another directory and i'm having to copy them out of there and put them into my bin. I've set it up as a service and it seems to be running ok, but is there something i can do so that i can go to any directory and type mysql -whatever and it will work? isnt that how it should work, or am i just being dim...
