Two questions I have for you guys. Fairly simple, just some input.

Question 1:

Do you think, with PHP adding in more OO (classes) into its inner dwelling, hopefully more in version 5, that you will be able to eventually write, say windows or Linux desktop applications?

Question2:

What good books are out there, for a php developer that is intermediate, and is looking for more advanced topics, within this weird and wonderful language of ours.

Nice....I like what I see. Do you guys have any books (other than the online documents) currently released that explain PHP GTK in greater detail.
