data entry to mysql via myodbc.

hi Dear,
I am a question , please , help me:
how we can data entry via windows application into
mysql that running
in the inux / apache webserver (client-server method
for data entry in
mysql database.)?
for example with MS Access in windows applaication
on mysql that is running on
linux server?

I use myodbc to this perpose, but when I create a DNS this error appear " this host [ip for my computer] is not allowed to connect to this mysql server "

please help me.

It sounds like a host permissions problem with MySQL. Try setting the entry for host in the mysql.user table to '%'.

It should work then, but you shouldn't leave it as '%' as it carries a security risk.
