How do i edit my httpd.conf to prevent users to browse directorys with no index.php or index.html in?

Make sure that "Indexes" doesn't appear in the "Options" lists for directories and/or sites -
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews Options FollowSymLinks MultiViews
