passing array w get

how, if at all, do you pass an array with get? do you have to specify each element in the url? or can you just do
<? site.com?myvar=$myarray ?>
doesn't seem to work this way.

There may be another way to do it, but if you can't find anything better...
implode() the array into a comma delimited file then send it through the URL as a string. When it gets to the next page, explode() it on the comma to turn it back to an array.

Implode-explode is a good (and easy) solution for simple arrays, you just need to make sure that whatever character you use as delimiter is not contained in any array element.

To be able to fully restore associative or complex multidimensional arrays, you'd probably be better off with serialize-unserialize.
