PHP and WINDOWS

Has anyone run into a problem with sessions not working on a WINDOWS server? We have a backened wich uses sessions and a front end which doesnt... The Front end works just fine but the back end we cant get passed the LOG in page.

WE tested the whole site on a Linux server and it works just fine but when we move it ove to the windows server we dont get any errors but the back end just wont work... The whole thins is database driven.. front end and back end..

Anyone have a clue?

Check your php.ini file for the directory where it expects to store it's session information and make sure it exists on your windows machine. On linux it's /tmp which exists on all flavors of *nix, but I believe that on windows it wants c:\temp which probably doesn't exist.
