How can you get the .php extension on a Notepad file? or.. how can you get the .php extension.. so i can put it on my apache server?

When saving from notepad, in the "save as" dialogue, select "All Files" from the "Save as Type" drop down menu. Then simply type the full filename (including the .php extension) into the File Name field, then hit save!
Either that or just go to SAVE and put quotes around the filename. "myfile.php"
whenever i do that.. it shows up as myfile.php.txt ???
so go to explorer and rename it manually.
Whish of the 2 methods causes the filename to be appended with .txt?
it is the one you said.. and what do you mean.. go to "explorer" 😕 😕 😕 😕
