Have you tried doing a simple search for "FREE MYSQL HOSTING" on Google or any search engine?

I've just had a look at the Portland site and that looks bloody amazing... completely free PHP, MySQL !!!
Not a great deal ofbandwidth or disk space but good enough for a test or demo area 🙂
