phpMyAdmin

I have a problem with phpMyAdmin running under Apache on port 8082. When I log into phpMyAdmin using HTTP authorization...I type in my username and password, and it logs me in fine.

But then, if I try to go into any database, the HTTP Auth dialog pops up again...and it pops up continuously many many times when I try to do anything...?

Is there something I have to set in phpMyAdmin to use a different port than 80? because when I used port 80, I didn't seem to have this problem.

Okay, I think it's not the port, because now I've changed it back to port 80 and I'm still getting the same problem. phpMA wants me to keep entering my password over and over again. It seems kinda like it's wanting me to send it in for every item it's pulling from the server...every image, page, etc.

Anyone seen this before?
