OK , configured php+mysql+apache. PHP nuke runs fine.
Set it up ok, now what do I do? upload to my webhost.....but just uploading cant be it.....what is the next step?
anyhelp would be most appreciated.

You should upload the HTML folder and then install it the same way that you did on your local machine. Set the values in the config.php file and then access the index.php page - and with a bit of luck it will install without any problems.
Then you go through all the joys of setting it up, AGAIN
You can upload the db you have on your local machine, that way it will be in the same state as it is on your local machine.

I didnt have to, I installed php my sql and apache and then just unzipped php-nuke to the directory I pointed php to.
Could I just upload it and that be it?
You certainly did install PHP-Nuke, though you may not be aware of it. When you first access index.php it installs itself - create all the db table, etc.
You just need to do exactly the same on your remote host - but you will definitely need to change the settings in config.php before you access the index.php script.
