create an dropdownlist with database information ???

i've got a field in my DB name "formValue" and i want to select them to create a dropdownlist .... how can i do that ???

my value are already name like this but i never know how much value i've got for the dropdownlist :

storeList[0]
storeList[1]
storeList[2]
storeList[3]
...

please i need help

This will create a set of options in your select that have names of storelist0 onwards with the names being the values actually shown.

i try this ... it gave me an empty dropdownlist .... so it doesn't work ... can someone have an idea
