Open Source customer management system

Does anyone know of a good open source PHP/MySQL project which handles customer management and billing for a service-based company (i.e. web design, hosting, PC repair, etc.)

I have started a system of my own but am getting stuck on a few ideas that I have in my head but can't quite convert into working code.

Basically I would like a system where I can post invoices for my customers, and the customers can log on to view invoices, make payments, update their accounts, etc. I thought if I could find a good open source system, I could potentially tailor it to fit my needs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, my birthday is September 11. And yes, it stinks to now share a birthday with one of the worst days in American history. Fun, fun, fun.
