This may be simple but I can't get it:
ORDER BY sdate DESC GROUP BY payname
..either one works but not together...trying to get the last entry by date with single payname (no dups). Thanks in advance.
That is correct sql syntax -
SELECT .... GROUP BY foo ORDER BY bar
